Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Intense Eye Shadow 24

ETK Intense 24, Waterproof Smooth Silk Eye Pencil 1

I think the entire beauty industry's love of Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Intense Eye Shadows is already well documented, but if you're new: hybrid formula, best pigmentation ever, most long lasting thing you can put on your eyes. The last time I wrote about it I moaned a little about not being able to use a brush with it, but it turns out I just needed the right brush (Shu Uemura 10 kolinsky/sable). That said, you have to work fast because once the eyeshadow dries, it won't budge.

My love for this wouldn't be a problem if not for the beauty-blogger-on-a-strict-no-dupe dilemma, i.e. I think I have something kinda similar and if so can I still keep it? Pretty please?

Close but no cigar? It's definitely less gold and more taupe, but the finish is similar. Do you think it's different enough for me to keep? Or should I try ETK Intense 25 instead?

Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Intense Eye Shadow 24 retails for $32 and is available at giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com or nordstrom.com.

  2. Both look gorgeous on you, but I think 15 might look slightly better. Did you use both of them wet? I have the impression that 24 looks darker on me though. Maybe it was the light?

  3. stephanie- meep :(

Sunny- I used both dry (hate using things wet!) It might be the light or that I didn't pack it on. Mine's kind of a one swipe

  4. Try 25 instead. Although 24 and 25 also look really similar, from what I remember?

  6. Thank you for posting photos of how this looks on the eye. I love it with the silk eye pencil. Seeing these on other blogs, just swatched on an arm, made me dismiss them as way too shimmery for my taste. But applied on the eye it is quite lovely. Can't wait to check them out in person!

  7. I hate using things wet, too. Can you make 24 look even closer to 15 if you sheer it out?

  8. I think they both look beautiful and if it was me, I'd keep it. I'm really tempted to get one of the new colours. Maybe this is 'the one'!

  9. It's pretty on you! But I'm thinking exchange it. It's barely enough of a difference to justify keeping it. Socks need to be knocked off as one of my good friends with amazing CHEEKZ put it! :)

  10. Both look lovely on you. But I stopped short at 'longlasting' and 'won't budge'. I've got 6 and it slides off my eyelids and just disappears within 2-3 hours. What sort of primer do you use with it?

  11. In the pot, they remind me of Nars Night Clubbing.

  12. I didn't realize you posted pictures of 15 on you (that's what I get for not reading captions). They look so similar on you, but I think 15 is just a bit more interesting looking on the eyes.

  14. Larie- Apparently 25 has more sparkle and khaki tones vs gold (though 24 doesn't have any either...)

Eunice- so far team keeping it is losing ><

Tatiana- :) Yes it's much more manageable on the eye than swatched on the arm.

Isla- Hmmm I wonder. 15 IS more gold though

Modesty Brown- It is pretty *bites lips*

Trakee- meep :3 o voice of reason

GreatSheElephant- you're the first i heard o.o I didn't use a primer at all, and wore that the entire day + taking a nap. Looked the same at the end of the night

    Anonymous- Cool!

Christina- That seems to be the verdict so far!

    Anonymous- Thanks for the input!

  16. I think its a repeat shade. I thought it might have been but your pictures confirmed it.

I hesitated on this collection because I purchased all four shades from Ecailles and Obsidian Grey = # 16 from a previous collection

  17. SO pretty! I love the way it looks on you!

  18. Hey girly, I asked if you used both wet because especially in the picture of you wearing #15 it looks so sparkling and foiled I was almost sure you used it wet! I haven't found the need to pack this product on because I get enough color with one swipe :)

  21. I'm really loving the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility issues? A small number of my blog visitors have complained about my site not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any suggestions to help fix this issue?

  25. Its such as you read my thoughts! You appear to understand a lot about this,
like you wrote the book in it or something.
I feel that you can do with a few p.c. to drive the message
home a little bit, but other than that, this is
great blog. An excellent read. I will definitely be back.
