Guest Post on Karla Sugar: Emulating Laura Mercier Spring

I've been making so many mistakes and dropping/losing so many things this past week that it just doesn't feel like me. Seems like every day something happens that just makes me want to hang my head in shame. I'm going for a haircut tomorrow (well, a trim) and hope that kills the clumsy streak.

Part of the clumsiness was giving the wrong information to Karla Sugar when she graciously put me up on her blog for recreating the Laura Mercier Spring look she posted earlier last week, the same look in my recent Suqqu lipstick post (sans lipstick).

For a complete breakdown, please hop on over to Karla's.

  1. Love this look. Simply stunning! Tenne has been on my to-order list; think I will do so pronto! Might you recall which blush you used on top? I can't think of a pink-coral blush that is not too shimmery....which I would think Lmdb echo might be? I was thinking you had Lhasa on eyelids....will have to look into the chanel magic night :)

  2. I know which blush it is but it has no name.. It's the fourth shade in the recent LMdB Blush kaleidoscope. I think Echo is potentially a good substitute (more coral, less pink). After all, the shimmer doesn't really show :) Magic Night is one of my all-time favorites!

  3. Laura Mercier isn't the cheap make up I usually go for but it has great products. I do spend a little extra on it just because of the quality.

    Your makeup looks flawless.
